We're just jumping genre to genre over here at StoryImprov. A big hello to our recent new members. The lack of new content wouldn't make it clear, but some of you are finding your way here and taking the time to register. Thanks.

Maybe you'd like to get in on a little Epic Fantasy? Can I humbly ask that we have no hobbits or warrows?

Please?

Does anyone other than me know what a warrow is, anyway?

I do not know what a warrow is but invite some more submissions to this new story. Especially if you're a new member, no better time than the present.

Back in the 80, Dannis McKiernan wrote a series of books that take place in a very Middle Earthian setting, and some of the scenes are almost straight out of Tolkien. Turns out, I found out years later, he was actually trying to produce a series of sesequels to The Lord Of The Rings.

Anyway, one of his species were the warrows. They were basically a mix of hobbits and elves - small, but very nimble, with very good eyesight, and excellent archers.

Tuckerby Underbank was the most famous of the warrows (notice the call back to Frodo's traveling name of Underhill).
