National Novel Writing Month

Here’s a good idea. National Novel Writing Month. I just found it while surfing the Star Wars blog. I have no real reason why I was surfing the Star Wars blog, but anyway.

The idea is simple. Stop talking about writing. Start writing. A novel. In one month. This month.

Unfortunately, today is the 12th and I’m already almost two weeks behind, so I won’t be getting from “Once Upon A Time” to “Happily Ever After” by December. Too bad, really, because I do have a story rummaging around in my head just waiting to find life on paper.

You, however, should give it a go. You can find the project at www.nanowrimo.org.
