Welcome Back To Schoolers

We at StoryImprov are very excited for the back-to-school season, for two reasons.

First, around here, we have a terribly clever commercials for a local department store. It shows a father dancing around a store aisle, filling a shopping cart with school supplies, as his children trudge behind him. “The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” plays through the entire spot.

Brilliant.

Secondly, we've seen some English and Literature teachers join StoryImprov and start private groups for their students. While we are trying to figure out what is going on in Asheville, they'll be plugging away at their own stories, away from our eyes, in the private section of the site.

Welcome, students, and all those who write because someone tells them they have to. Don't forget to double the spacing and narrow the margins. And for goodness sakes remember that every paper you write should have the phrase “... and you” at the end of the title. My best submitted paper was called “Mathematical Induction And You”.

Ah, high school was a sweet time.
